Reporting and commentary
Clearly label reporting, commentary, rumours and brand announcements. Do not present speculation as confirmed news. A viral clip alone does not establish the truth of a claim; check its origin and context.
Dates, bylines and quotes
Display publication dates and meaningful update dates. Identify the author or accountable brand byline without inventing staff. Distinguish the date an event happened from the date it was reported. Use quotations accurately and in context.
Images and video
Use media we own, have permission to use or can otherwise lawfully publish. Credit the source where appropriate. Label illustrative or AI-generated imagery and never present it as evidence of a real event.
Commercial relationships
